01

Overview

EQPID redesigns the exterior of one specific equipment model around its real technical conditions. We develop overall form, proportion, volumes, functional zones, doors, windows, controls, ventilation and visible details without taking over the core machine technology.

Our principle is Good to Use, Good to Look At, Good to Manufacture. The proposal considers operation, maintenance, safety and production from the start, providing a clear basis for subsequent sheet-metal engineering.

02

Is This Service Right for You?

  1. A new equipment model needs a coherent exterior design.
  2. A technically mature machine needs a substantial visual upgrade.
  3. An exhibition, tender or new market calls for a stronger product presentation.
  4. The internal layout is established and the enclosure and functional interfaces need design.
  5. Doors, observation areas, controls or maintenance access need improvement.

03

What We Do

  1. Confirm the Design Inputs

Review function, internal layout, dimensions, movement envelopes, operation, maintenance, safety, environment, cost and production conditions. Agree what may change.

  2. Define the Design Direction

Translate product positioning, target customers, brand identity and relevant competing products into a suitable visual direction.

  3. Develop the Overall Form

Resolve the silhouette, volumes, proportions, visual balance and primary faces as one coherent product.

  4. Organize Functional Zones

Arrange controls, viewing areas, loading access, maintenance zones, doors, handles, ventilation and safety information.

  5. Integrate Brand Features and Details

Develop recognizable form, divisions, colors and lighting, then refine seams, corners, locks, castors, windows and contact points.

  6. Complete the CMF Scheme

Define colors, materials and finishes that fit the brand, operating environment and available manufacturing processes.

  7. Develop and Review the Proposal

Produce the exterior 3D design and multi-angle visuals. Review engineering and manufacturing constraints and refine difficult, costly or hard-to-maintain features.

04

What You Receive

  1. Design input and exterior direction summary.
  2. Concept sketches and the contract-defined number of exterior proposals.
  3. Final exterior 3D model.
  4. High-resolution overall views and key detail renderings.
  5. Explanations of functional zoning, door opening, observation and maintenance relationships.
  6. Color, material and finish scheme.
  7. Application guidance for logos, model names, markings and major graphics.
  8. Exterior handover data for sheet-metal engineering, in the formats and level of detail agreed in the contract.

05

Client Value

The result is an exterior proposal built around the actual equipment, supporting a more coherent appearance, clearer use and stronger brand recognition in sales, exhibitions and tenders.

Considering fabrication, assembly and maintenance during design helps reduce avoidable changes and loss of design intent later in engineering and production.

Scope & Boundaries

This service covers exterior form, functional interfaces and CMF. It does not include core operating principles, internal process systems, precision motion mechanisms, electrical controls, software or equipment performance R&D. Sheet-metal engineering, production drawings, prototypes and manufacturing are included only when expressly agreed.

FAQs

Do you design the internal working mechanism?

No. The client provides the core technology, internal layout, components and technical interfaces. We design the exterior product around those conditions.

Can you work around an existing internal layout?

Yes. We first identify fixed components, interfaces, movement envelopes and access needs, then define the available design space.

Are production drawings included?

Exterior handover data is included to the agreed scope. Detailed sheet-metal engineering and production drawings are a separate service unless included in the contract.

Does the service include colors and finishes?

Yes. The final exterior proposal includes a CMF scheme aligned with the brand, environment and production conditions.
